T is for Tree: A Bible ABC book for toddlers - A Book Review

First of all is it really almost June already?!?  This year is almost halfway over.  Where did the time go?  I hope you are getting your summer book list ready.  Still gathering suggestions for your list?  Well, that's great because today I want to introduce you to a sweet Christian children's book titled, T is for Tree: A Bible ABC from Reformed Free Publishing Association.  I was sent this book in exchange for my honest review.   My niece has enjoyed listening to me read it to her as she looks at the pictures but even more so she has enjoyed talking over and trying to read it her self.  LOL

When we received our book, T is for Tree: A Bible ABC it was nicely wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure it made it to us undamaged.  I know that seems like a small thing but I really appreciated them doing that.  The entire crew was happy to see a new book arrive!  We love reading!! We jumped right in.

About the Book

T is for Tree: A Bible ABC

T is for Tree is written by Connie L. Meyer.  It is a hardcover book and has 30 pages.  It is in alphabetical order and each page has its own letter of the alphabet with a word that starts with that letter, a rhyming narration that corresponds to the word, and is followed by a scripture that also corresponds to the word.  Each page is beautifully illustrated!
The scripture that is cited throughout the book is taken from the King James (Authorized) Version.

I asked all of my children to pick out their favorite page and let me know why it was their favorite.

My oldest daughter said, "My favorite page is B is for Bow, because of the rainbow and the promise God made to not flood the Earth again."

My oldest son said, "I like P is for Paths because it talks about letting God lead our paths and the picture.  What I see in the picture is a father leading his son on the path of righteousness just like my daddy."

My daughter said, "My favorite page is X is for FoXes, because I like the picture of the cute foxes."

My son said, " I like the page D is for Dawn because I love the picture of the sun rising."

My Thoughts

T is for Tree is a very sweet book to introduce toddlers to the alphabet.  I love the way they included a short poem and bible verses for each letter.  The pages were nice and thick, which is great being that the book is intended for younger kids.  The pictures are beautifully illustrated and look very realistic.  Although it is recommended for ages 3-6 this book can be enjoyed by the entire family. Of course the fact that it is an ABC book you wouldn't necessarily get it just to read for any age child, but if you are reading to a toddler the older kids will be fine sitting in on the story. Our family loved it!   Especially, my niece, she loves to read and this book fed her love to read.
